In the event of snowy or icy weather that prohibits a Meals on Wheels volunteer from delivering a meal, we provide our clients with "Blizzard Boxes."
These meals consist of boxed or canned, non-perishable items that they can store and use in the event of bad weather.
Blizzard boxes are replaced at no cost to the client throughout the winter months immediately after each “non-delivery” day.
Contributions are needed and appreciated to insure that clients will always have a daily meal in spite of weather conditions that may prevent meal delivery.
