FoodLine
FoodLine is a grocery shopping and delivery service offered by Meals on Wheels to the homebound, elderly and disabled who are unable to shop for themselves. (This service is currently available in Bethlehem, Easton, Hellertown, Nazareth, Walnutport, and Slate Belt regions.)
(Click here to download our FoodLine brochure in English.)
How Does it Work?
It’s easy! To register for Food Line, call 610-691-6708. Our Meals on Wheels FoodLine Coordinator will then contact you for additional information. Once your registration is complete, you can call the FoodLine number on Mondays or Tuesdays before 11:00 a.m. to begin service. Our FoodLine Coordinator will contact you to take your order. (Please have all of your grocery information available at that time.)
A volunteer will shop for and deliver the groceries directly to your home. Payment is due when the groceries are delivered (cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or food stamps).
What Does it Cost?
The cost of your groceries and a $4 fee per grocery shopping trip (to help defray the administative costs of providing this service) is charged.
