WE APPRECIATE & NEED YOUR CHARITABLE SUPPORT

Special menu options include hispanic, diabetic, renal, pre-cut, pureed, soft and more.It costs approximately $1,400 to provide daily Meals for a senior adult per year. 95% of our clients are regarded as low- income and unable to pay the partial or total cost of meal delivery. Because of the generosity of our community, we have never turned anyone away who was in need of meal assistance nor have we ever placed those in need on a waiting list. Your continued financial support is very much appreciated to continue our services for the increasing number of older adults who call upon Meals On Wheels for meal assistance.

The Financial Challenges that impact Meals On Wheels include:

  • Dwindling state and local government dollars to cover the cost of providing meals for low-income clients.
  • Sky rocketing cost of fuel, food supplies and disposables used in the preparation/delivery of meals.
  • The cost to replace and purchase new food service equipment.
  • The expense to maintain and improve the MOW facility
